Through our articles, resources and multiple communications CMS offers ongoing educational services to its members and their practices.
The Colorado Medical Society (CMS) is an Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) Recognized Accreditor who accredits providers of continuing medical education in Colorado and the surrounding region.
Eligible organizations who successfully achieve accreditation and plan Continuing Medical Education (CME) in accordance with the ACCME’s accreditation requirements may offer AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ to their physician attendees.
CMS is also an ACCME accredited provider of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ for physicians. The CMS CME program strives to provide access to high quality CME that will contribute to maintaining physician’s competency and improve the health care they provide to their patients. CMS collaborates with eligible organizations who are not accredited to joint provide certified CME activities to their physicians.
