With the recent release of Health Industry Cybersecurity Practices (HICP): Managing Threats and Protecting Patients, the 405(d) initiative has announced the first HICP engagement: HICP Fireside Chat Series.

What is the Fireside Chat Series?

The Fireside Chat is a conversational-based webinar led by Julie Chua, HHS federal lead, and Erik Decker, industry lead, on the Health Industry Cybersecurity Practices (HICP): Managing Threats and Protecting Patients publication and its supporting materials. Julie and Erik will discuss the process of collaborating with industry to identify the 5 Threats currently facing the health care industry and the 10 Practices which can help mitigate them. This webinar is an opportunity for participants to gain a better understanding of what the publication is and how they can leverage it for their organizations. It’s also a great opportunity to ask questions about the HICP publication with both co-leads of the effort.
