General Qualification Requirements
Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. We value lived experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, database applications, and meeting planning.Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and advancing health equity. Working knowledge of educational design and adult learning principals, an interest in teaching, mentoring, and life-long learning is a plus. Experience with Continuing Medical Education, Graduate Medical Education, Continuing Adult Education, and/or other regulatory requirements is a plus.Progressively responsible positions in healthcare, project management, program management, or association management is preferred. Competency in multiple languages is a plus. Knowledge of the medical field and profession is helpful.
Skills and Abilities
This position requires the ability to be self-directed and to work independently since this is a department of one. Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and rigorous attention to detail are required. Ability to manage multiple projects, quickly adapt to changing environments, adhere to strict deadlines, and demonstrate both independent and collaborative judgement. Effective relationship building and communication skills (written and verbal) are essential.
