The Symposium on Pain Management, presented by Parkview Medical Center, will be held Saturday, May 12, 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Pueblo Community College. The aim of the symposium is for medical professionals to learn and demonstrate best practices related to alternative methods of pain management with a focus on avoiding the use of opioids. It is open to all medical professionals (including nursing, physicians, behavior health and mental health). Physicians can earn up to 6 CME credits. Registration is $25 and lunch is included.

Opening remarks will be provided by Colorado Lt. Governor Donna Lynne with a keynote address from the International Spine and Pain Institute and sessions with other local experts from Parkview, Health Solutions and Corwin.
