DENVER, CO - The Colorado Medical Society (CMS) has announced that Chief Executive Officer, Bryan Campbell, has resigned from the organization to pursue other career opportunities.
Mr. Campbell began service to CMS in January of 2020, just weeks before the COVID-19 pandemic hit Colorado. His tenure is marked by an aggressive response to the pandemic which provided resources to every physician in Colorado, including access to personal protective equipment and weekly statewide webinars with public health officials.
Mr. Campbell also helped CMS fight to protect access to confidential counseling services for Colorado physicians, protect Coloradans from unsafe scope of practice expansions for physician assistants, and helped to prevent mandatory participation for physicians in the Colorado Option insurance plan.
"Serving the physicians of Colorado has been one of the greatest honors of my career," said Campbell. "I know that the people of Colorado and their physicians will continue to be well served by CMS' dedicated Board of Directors and talented staff."
