2011 Annual Meeting of the Colorado Medical Society
Breakthrough Connections: Building a Medical Neighborhood
Where goes the neighborhood? The 2011 Annual Meeting of the CMS House of Delegates featured efforts to help design a powerful infrastructure and lay the foundation for better access to quality, affordable care. The meeting included sessions on payment reform, health information technology, team building and physician leadership. F. Brent Keeler, MD, was inagurated as the new president of the Colorado Medical Society and Denver Channel 7 Report Theresa Marchetta received the Defensor Patientae Award, in recognition of her investigation of an unscrupulous chiropractor. The weekend concluded with discussion, elections and resolutions at the closing session of the House of Delegates. This page features all of the presentations and final outcomes from the meeting.
