Includes the counties of Arapahoe, Douglas and Elbert. Cities of Englewood, Centennial, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Lone Tree, Parker, Castle Rock.
Aurora-Adams County Medical Society
Includes Aurora and Adams counties. Cities of Aurora, Commerce City, Strasburg, Bennet, and Brighton.
Boulder County Medical Society
Includes Boulder County. Cities of Boulder, Jamestown, Erie, Lafayette, Louisville and Longmont.
Chaffee County Medical Society
Includes Chaffee County. Cities of Buena Vista, Salida and Poncha Springs.
Curecanti Medical Society
Includes the counties of Gunnison, Montrose, Ouray and San Miguel. Cities of Crested Butte, Gunnison, Pitkin, Montrose, Ouray and Telluride.
Delta County Medical Society
Includes Delta County. Cities of Cedaredge, Hotchkiss, Delta and Paonia.
Denver Medical Society
Includes the city of Denver.
Eastern Colorado Medical Society
Includes the counties of Cheyenne, Kit Carson and Lincoln. Cities of Arapahoe, Cheyenne Wells, Burlington, Stratton, and Limon.
El Paso County Medical Society
Includes El Paso and Teller counties. Cities of Colorado Springs, Fort Carson, Fountain, Monument, Peterson AFB, Cripple Creek, Divide and Woodland Park.
Foothills Medical Society
Includes the counties of Clear Creek, Jefferson, Gilpin. Cities of Arvada, Cities Westminster, Broomfield, Black Hawk, Golden, Lakewood, Morrison, Wheat Ridge, Northglenn and Thornton.
Fremont County Medical Society
Includes the counties of Custer and Fremont. Cities of Westcliffe, Canon City, Cotapaxi, Florence.
Huerfano Medical Society
Includes Huerfano county. Cities of Cuchara, Walsenburg, La Veta.
Intermountain Medical Society
Includes Eagle and Summit counties. Cities of Beaver Creek, Edwards, Vail, Breckenridge, Dillon, Frisco, Keystone and Silverthorne.
La Plata County Medical Society
Includes the counties of Archuleta and La Plata. Cities of Pagosa Springs, Durango, Bayfield, Ignacio.
Lake County Medical Society
Includes Lake County. The cities of Leadville and Climax.
Las Animas County Medical Society
Includes Las Animas County. Cities of Aguilar, Branson, Cokedale, and Trinidad.
Mesa County Medical Society
Includes Mesa County. The cities of Fruita, Grand Junction, Mesa, and Palisade.
Montezuma Medical Society
Includes the counties of Montezuma, Dolores and San Juan. Cities of Cahone, Cortez, Delores, Pleasant View and Silverton.
Morgan County Medical Society
Includes Morgan County. Cities of Brush, Fort Morgan, Hoyt, Snyder, and Wiggins.
Mt. Evans Medical Society
Includes the counties of Jefferson and Park. Cities of Idaho Springs, Conifer, Evergreen, Bailey, Fairplay, Grant, Jefferson, and Shawnee.
Mt. Sopris Medical Society
Includes Garfield and Pitkin counties. Cites of Carbondale, Glenwood Springs, Parachute, Rifle, Aspen, and Snowmass.
Northeast Colorado Medical Society
Includes the counties of Logan, Phillips and Sedgwick. Cities of Sterling, Holyoke, Julesberg, Merino, Fleming, Sedgwick.
Northern Colorado Medical Society
Includes Larimer and Weld counties. Cities of Fort Collins, Estes Park, Loveland, Berthoud, Firestone, Fort Lupton, Frederick, Greeley, Johnstown, and Windsor.
Northwestern Colorado Medical Society
Includes the counties of Grand, Jackson, Moffat, Rio Blanco and Routt. Cities of Fraser, Granby, Kremmling, Winter Park, Rangely, Steamboat Springs, and Yampa.
Otero County Medical Society
Includes Otero County. Cities of Fowler, La Junta, Rocky Ford, and Swink.
Pueblo County Medical Society
Includes Pueblo County. Cities of Pueblo, Avondale, Colorado City, Rye, and Beulah.
San Luis Valley Medical Society
Includes the counties of Alamosa, Conejos, Costilla, Hinsdale, Rio Grande, and Saguache. Cities of Alamosa, Conejos, La Jara, Sangre de Cristo Ranches, Del Norte, Monte Vista, and Moffat.
Southeastern Colorado Medical Society
Includes the counties of Baca, Crowley, Kiowa, Prowers. Cities of Campo, Springfield, Two Buttes, Fort Lyon, Ordway, Arlington, Brandon, Eads, Sheridan Lake, and Lamar.
Washington-Yuma County Medical Society
Includes Washington and Yuma counties. Cities of Akron, Last Chance, Lindon, Eckley, Wray, and Yuma.
Medical Student Component Society
Includes all students currently enrolled in an MD/DO educational program in Colorado, regardless of location.
The cities listed are not a comprehensive list. If you’re unsure which local medical society to select, please contact our membership department at 720-859-1001 or membership@cms.org. Once selected/assigned based on the member’s address, component society designation can only be changed at the member’s request.
