• Tracee Metcalfe, MD, a Vail physician and world-class mountaineer — the first U.S. woman and third American to summit all 14 of the world’s highest mountains — will share her extraordinary climbing journey alongside her powerful path to recovery through Colorado’s Physician Health Program.
• Jerome Adams, MD, MPH, FASA, a former Indiana State Health Commissioner and the 20th U.S. Surgeon General, currently serves as Executive Director of Health Empowerment Initiatives and the Center for Community Health Enhancement and Learning (HEAL) at Purdue University. During his tenure as surgeon general, he was a key member of the President’s Coronavirus task force and therefore at the forefront of America’s most pressing health challenges. A regular communicator via TV, radio, and print, Dr. Adams is an expert not just in the science, but also in communicating the science to the lay public and making it relevant to various audiences.
